Recipe for Sambar
Cook 600ml of tamarind extracted water with 1/2 tsp of fenugreek and chopped vegetable of your choice. When the vegetables are fully cooked, add 2 tsp of Iyer Aathu Sambar Powder. Let it boil for a while till you get the nice aroma of sambar . Pour the pressure cooked mashed toor dal. Let it boil for few minutes. Add salt as required. Season with mustard, hing, red chillies and curry leaves in 2 tsp of cooking oil (preferably Sesame oil).
